Many companies that manufactured, sold, or installed asbestos products went bankrupt and were required to establish trusts to compensate people harmed by their products. A federal government review found dozens of these trusts, holding tens of billions of dollars combined, and more have been created since.

How to Use This Asbestos Trust List to Identify a Possible Claim

If a company or product name below sounds familiar from a loved one’s working years, a trust may be available. A worker did not need to be employed by any of these companies to qualify. What usually matters is exposure to their products, wherever the job took place: a shipyard, a power plant, a construction site, a refinery, or a factory floor.

Each trust sets its own rules for eligibility, evidence, and filing, and those rules can change. For that reason, this page does not list payment amounts.

Lesser-Known Asbestos Trusts Families Often Miss

The famous names are only part of the picture. Regional distributors, gasket and packing makers, and specialty manufacturers also have trusts. These smaller trusts can matter a great deal for the right work history, and they are the ones families most often overlook on their own. A thorough claim review checks your loved one’s full exposure history against all active trusts, not just the well-known ones. To learn more about the process, see our asbestos trust fund claims guide.

Asbestos Trust Fund Payouts and Filing Requirements

Each trust pays approved claims at a percentage set by its trustees and may adjust over time. Any figure printed here could quickly become outdated. Each trust also publishes its own criteria, required evidence, and filing procedures. Time limits apply to both trust claims and lawsuits and vary, so it is wise to act sooner rather than later. You can read more about how payment percentages work in our asbestos trust fund payouts guide.

Next Steps If You Recognize a Company Name

If any name on this page sounds familiar, write down what you remember: where the person worked, roughly when, what the job involved, and any product names. Even partial memories can serve as useful evidence. Matching those details against the full list of trusts is exactly what a claim review does.

Share what you remember through a free case review, and we will check it against every trust that may apply.
